ISRAEL UPDATE

May 13, 2001 - During the period of 1961-71, many American teenagers were found moving into the occult, black magic and Satan worship because they were disillusioned with the war, famine and disease in the world and wanted to change it. These same young people stated they weren't finding answers in the political or religious structure in America and felt betrayed by the leaders who promised change, but did not produce it.

We think back to riots, subversive activities, talk of revolution, drug abuse, sexual promiscuity, and the war in Vietnam. One cannot forget on the heels of all this came the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Malcolm X, Robert Kennedy, and Martin Luther King. Many people's leaders were literally removed from the arena within seconds.

Rosemary's Baby, The Exorcist and rock groups like Black Sabbath gave the world open access to the dark realm, making it more acceptable.

If anything, the last 30 years has seen more war, famine and disease and given more people a desire to change it. The problem is, music and entertainment have only made Satan, the occult and the worship thereof, more legitimate.

People cringed 30 years ago at Rosemary's Baby, the Exorcist and the sound of Black Sabbath, but now church people will listen to and watch things perhaps more subtle, but just as Satanic and destructive.

Ironic that as evil increases it is more easily accepted and yet we cry for change.

May 13, 2001 - The headlines of Arizona's leading newspapers dated Wednesday, May 9, 2001 stated that Governor Jane Hull signed into legislation a bill removing laws governing the self-conduct sexuality.

Those in favor of having laws denouncing homosexual activity and other forms of perversions are now unpopular because they are considered archaic, outdated and condemning of those who practice these acts.

The Arizona Gay and Lesbian communities are rejoicing over this new legislation and feel they have now gained a great victory.

Governor Hull, prior to her election, garnered much support from the religious right wing. By that, I mean people who want to purify the world by the legislation of morality.

We also remember a few short years ago when the Governor backed down from legislating a week dedicated to the Bible because of pressure.

But ultimately Jane Hull is not the issue, but rather the church as it keeps attempting, through man-made efforts, to make a better world, free of sin.

In reality, when people put their faith in the man-made systems of politics, religion and finance, they continue to become deluded, and because of continued failure are looking for answers. Hence the stage is set for antichrist to come in having "all the answers."

This week in Arizona proves the prophetic dominoes continue to fall and fall into place.  “Let us put our trust in G-d and not in the arm of flesh, lest we surely fail” (Jer. 17:5).
