IISRAEL UPDATE

February 10, 2002 - Since I began writing these articles in June of 1998, I have pointed out the coming of the Antichrist and the spirit that would precede him.

In these articles, I have specifically addressed the spirit of the age, false doctrine, those not receiving the love of the truth, and the desensitizing of people's feelings.

This week, I couldn't help but become acutely aware of how this actually is happening and how it will continue to be so.

For believers to embrace all these things, they have got to be unaware of who G-d, Jesus and the Holy Spirit truly are.

These people have and will continue to occupy their time and expend their energy on worldly things that are perhaps ok, but certainly not beneficial to their spiritual welfare.

Sadness fills my heart as I see and hear those individuals who love not the pursuit of Biblical truth.

In nutshell, I am saying if we diminish our thoughts of G-d, Jesus and the Holy Spirit - not allowing them to expand or develop, our concept of the Holy Trinity will become dwarfed, leaving emptiness.  The end result of this will be the filth and clutter of the world filling that void, leaving precious little space for G-d.

Many people say they would never accept the Mark of the Beast, but the Apostle Paul said that many would be deceived, because they love not the truth.  II Thessalonians 2:10.  May G-d cause us to seek ye first the Kingdom of G-d, lest we fall away and be damned…

February 10, 2002 - People who purchased cell phones from electronic giant Motorola in Europe and Israel, were shocked to find the service manual did not include Israel, but found Jerusalem to be a city in the nonexistent Palestinian state.

It is profoundly ironic that Motorola has been in Israel since 1964, seeing firsthand what Palestinian terrorism has done to this tiny nation, yet be confused on this issue.

Harrods and Selfridges, two large department stores in England, were barraged with credit-card cancellations and telephone complaints, as it was announced they would cease to purchase Israeli-made products - due to their "oppression" of the Palestinian people.  They bowed to pressure and retracted their statements.  You may find it interesting that Harrods is Egyptian-owned.

But we must question the motivation of these corporations concerning their apologies and retractions of their statements.  Was it because of heartfelt sincerity, or was it due to the quarterly reports? While I am sure every employee of these companies does not feel this way, there are political and economic influences that would cause highly placed executives to allow this to transpire.

The prophet wrote, "Woe unto him that giveth his neighbor drink, that putteth thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness. Thou art filled with shame for glory, drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered, the cup of the Lord's right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory." Habakkuk 2:15,16.

As the enemies of Israel continually force their lies and hate upon the Jews, attempting to shame them, so shall G-d's wrath pour out on the enemies of his people, and it will be those who stand naked and ashamed one day, as they face their Creator.

To be continued. . .
