ISRAEL UPDATE

May 12, 2002 - How do the nations of the world fit into G-d's prophetic plan as we approach the Rapture of the Church and the consummation of G-d's eternal purpose?

Daniel 2:21 tells us “And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.”

All of the oil-rich Gulf nations have poured billions into the coffers of terrorists and provided logistical aid to these same groups in attempt to destroy Israel.

Iraq disrupts the peace process in Israel and stands in open support of Arafat, attempting to destroy Israel and “polluting the waters” of U.S. intentions and relationships.

Iran, enemy of America and Israel, continues to support terrorists with money and support, especially Hizbullah.

Egypt and Jordan are leaning more to fundamentalist Islam and are moving more aggressively against Israel, slowly, but ever so steadily.

The African states of Libya, Sudan and Somalia are following many of these same patterns - gathering together to destroy Israel.

Yet today, I feel that we need to focus specifically upon Syria, not just because of their wars with Israel, but also because of their open support of terrorism, both anti-Israel and anti-American as well.

Syria has more chemical weapons than Iraq, is linked to Iran and will be part of this last mad dash against Israel.  G-d showed Daniel that these nations will be brought down and Israel will be exalted in the end times – keep your eyes upon Syria…

May 12, 2002 - As the world demanded investigations for atrocities allegedly committed by Israel in the refugee camp of Jenin, they are now realizing how much exaggeration and hyperbole has been brought into this situation – designed to distract people from the true problems.

The world at large would lead us to believe that the Palestinians are living on a windswept piece of real estate, in tents, cooking on open fires and bathing in streams.

Yet it does not matter which “camp” receives media coverage - every single picture taken has shown nothing but apartments and houses in these troubled areas.

Most of the media coverage has centered on Area A, a part of Israel under Palestinian administration and Arafat's guidance - the longest since the signing of the Oslo Accord.

Now Arafat, with the help of the media, wants to make it sound like he needs to repair their infrastructure - the loss of education, poor sanitation, and electricity – due to the Israeli incursion.

Yet if you will review many of my writings in the last five years, you will see the documentation about the lack of these services, and the excess and corruption of the Arafat regime. The bottom line is: Arafat keeps the dollars for himself, not for “his people”.

If you didn't know better, you would honestly think that Israel is the evil perpetrator in the region and all the problems are because of her policy, at least that's the way the media portrays it…
