ISRAEL UPDATEJune 30, 2002 - In 1938 one the most noted scholars of the Arab world, Dr. Taha Hussein, wrote a book entitled "The Future of Culture in Egypt".
The concept he promotes is really quite striking, as it defines the "personality" of Egyptian culture, in spite of all the foreign control placed over her in past centuries. Yet the book goes on to describe just how “European” Egypt is - in so many parts of their society and how much Western influence can be seen.
This concept is disturbing for several reasons. First, what we know as the Arab-Muslim world was primarily controlled by two Western powers, France and England. The countries were able to rid themselves of colonial rule, yet are even now bound tightly to the European continent.
Second, these countries were for the most part sympathetic to the Nazi war effort and were even supportive of it, while looking to rebuild anti Semitism and plotting the destruction of the Jews as well as Israel as a nation. European nations have never needed any help in these areas…
This is but another dynamic to be factored into the coming Antichrist - with the culmination of European anti Semitism, ten rulers, and a unified continent under one complete ungodly system.
The Arab Muslim world with its oil needs the technology of Europe and its factories so they can assimilate all they need for the coming war with Israel.
Truly we can see time ticking down and Jesus ready to return, as the nations gather in the name of solidarity and peace, and the personalities of these nations setting their sights on Israel…
June 30, 2002 - In the months following the 9-11 tragedy, I have written several articles about America's war on terrorism, succeeding or failing due to our own policy.
A few months back, our government froze the assets of the Holy Land Foundation because their funds were tied to the Islamic Jihad terror network - a good choice by our President.
Yet since the Israeli incursion into PLO strongholds, we have found much documentation linking Saudia Arabia to the terror group Hamas, not to mention Osama bin Laden.
The Hamas Covenant of 1988 states, "The Islamic resistance movement believes the land of Palestine is an Islamic WAQF consecrated for the future Moslem generations until Judgment Day. It or any part of it, should not be squandered, it or any part of it should not be given up”.
It further states, "There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad (Holy War)". Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and are vain endeavors.
Now let's look at the reality of Riyadh, Saudia Arabia connected to Hamas in Israel, connected to Arafat and Israel, connected to Suddam and Iraq, connected to Arafat and Israel, connected to Hizbullah in Iran and Syria - all united under the banner of “Palestinian nationalism.”
America's religious, political, and financial leadership needs to come to grips with the fact that terrorism is terrorism. But, it appears President Harry Truman said it best, "They provide the oil and gas and in return Washington provides security.” But in the end, Israel will lose American support.
