ISRAEL UPDATEFebruary 1, 2004 - When famed underworld boss John Gotti was laid to rest, there were four floral arrangements made to portray his life's activities.
A race horse, a cigar, a martini, and a royal flush all depicted with delicate, sweet smelling flowers - intended to define his legacy.
While Gotti was considered the evil personification of power, greed, and corruption, he was also considered by many to be a folk hero, someone to emulate in their own lives.
If Yasser Arafat were to have a funeral after his demise and people made flower creations depicting his life, what would we see?
Exploding buses, peace imitatives signed yet broken, and the faces of the Palestinian people, including children, and their parents, weeping after their unnecessary deaths.
Could floral arrangements portray a life of lies, deception, and the murder of who knows how many Palestinians - for collaborating with Israel for peace?
In addition, could flowers show Arafat, the leader of the Palestinian people, dressing like a woman fleeing Israeli troops on a motorcycle, yet giving a 12 year-old boy a pistol to stay and defend his leader?
When Arafat dies, there will be a funeral where many will weep and project him as a leader and purveyor of peace. Nevertheless, like Gotti, there will be many that feel just the opposite.
It matters not what people think, they can try to pull people out of heaven, or push them into heaven, but in that day, all of us will stand naked before our Creator, accountable only to Him. By then it will be too late and only our works on Earth will be judged.
February 1, 2004 - When Jesus was baptized in the River Jordan by John the Baptist, we were shown the total function of harmony in the G-dhead.
The heavens opened up, the Spirit of G-d descended in the form of a dove, and G-d emphatically states, “And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17 (also Luke 3:22)
However, Mark 9:7 says, “And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.”
One of the biggest questions raised by the born-again Jesus teaching is that if Jesus were sinful, why would the perfect Holy Father first send the descending dove acknowledging the presence of the Spirit, then send a cloud manifesting His voice stating His approval?
There can be no doubt from this account as well as Luke 4:18… where Jesus declared the Spirit of the Lord was come upon him to fulfill messianic ministry – how could He do this if He was not sinless?
The Old Testament bears this out in Isaiah 9:6, where he is described as Wonderful (Supernatural), Counselor, The mighty G-d, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
If Jesus had a sinful nature prior to His death on the Cross, there is no possible way He could give perfect counsel and if He were G-d in the flesh, a born-again Jesus would be indicative of an imperfect G-d and Holy Spirit. This is not only blasphemous, but is the spirit of antichrist.
Thus the born-again Jesus doctrine can only be considered heretical and nothing but pollution of the pure Gospel. Regardless of the claims of teachers of this doctrine, is simply man-made perversion….
