ISRAEL UPDATEFebruary 8, 2004 - The story of the Hebrews plight in Egypt is familiar to all of us, but due to the events that are unfolding in Israel on a daily basis, it bears repeating. The point being that implementation of the destruction of the Jewish civilian populace never ceases.
Exodus 1:22 tells us, “…And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.”
Fortunately, the family of Moses was quick thinking and provided the safety their son required. Soon he found himself in the arms of the Pharaoh's daughter.
Exodus 2:10 states, “And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, because I drew him out of the water.”
What a vivid paradox to our world today… as the royal family of a pagan empire would take in the little Hebrew baby as their own, seeing to it that he was spared.
In just over the last 2 years the death toll of Israelis is practically equal to their losses during the 1967 Six-Day War, which was fought on three separate fronts… all during the so-called “peace process” of that time.
Today, the voices from the worlds of religion, education, philosophy, and economics are ignoring the Israeli cries for peace. It would seem that they are in “partnership” with the aggressors… or that their silence is approval…
In either case, this is not where G-d wants His Church to be, but rather pulling the babies from the water and protecting them.
February 8, 2004 - The final issue considering the born-again Jesus doctrine is one that brings into sharp focus the danger of where this teaching takes those that adopt it in their lives.
The most noted of the born-again Jesus teachers has said that he can teach people to atone for their own sins - just as Jesus did on the Cross.
It is easy to see the obvious problem of inequity… man's perceived capability versus the attributes of a Holy G-d. The reality is that the problem intensifies from there.
This teaching is proof-positive that the spirit of antichrist is alive and well in the Church today, as this doctrine espouses two specific attacks against G-d's redemptive plan through the Blood of Christ.
First, this “instruction” is antichrist in the aspect that it is directly opposed to the teachings of Christ. The Scriptures are very clear: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12
Second, it is the spirit of antichrist because it stands in replacement of G-d's plan - similar to the way Cain attempted to alter the concept outlined by G-d in Genesis 4:5.
Although done under the guise of “Christianity”, it is this type of doctrine that in spirit is now sowing the seeds for the Antichrist to come and physically manifest his evil presence.
This teaching truly shows us that men are not enduring sound doctrine, and will be deceived for not hearing the truth. Thus, we are seeing a pagan apostate Church on one hand, and the true confessing Church on the other - just as was in times past. The difference is… these are the Last Days and time is very short.
