ISRAEL UPDATEOctober 10, 2004 – It has been reported Israel is ready to purchase 500 bunker buster bombs from United States Arsenal.
This is not unusual, since America has been the Jewish state's primary supplier for decades - not only guaranteeing Israel's survival - but also allowing the United States to battlefield test equipment in between conflicts.
However, this proposition is troubling, as the nuclear capabilities of Iran are coming to a boiling point, posing an international threat in the very near future.
It is further troubling to know that should Israel choose to make a pre-emptive strike as they did in Iraq, she would receive severe condemnation from the rest of the world. This is the world that sits on the sidelines, actually glad that someone else takes the risk, accepting the liability.
While the nuclear melee of Iraq is in the past, at present the situation in Iran threatens to disrupt the world as a whole – especially the U.S. and Israel.
America would be hard pressed to form another coalition for war, while Israel will be the scapegoat… regardless of what she does or does not do.
As this scenario continues to unfold, it should cause the world to unite against the evils of fundamental Islam - instead of negotiating while nuclear bombs are built, and terrorists expand operations around the globe. Unfortunately, the world is focused upon and prostituted by oil…
October 10, 2004 - During the month of September, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed Bill 1234 into law. This legislation equates the Bible as hate literature regarding same-sex marriage and the practice of gay and lesbian lifestyles.
Supposedly, any preacher or teacher declaring that these truths would be in danger of prison, as this poses a threat to those that live these lifestyles.
There are two very gross perversions seen in this mentality.
First, G-d is a G-d of love, “But G-d commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Second, the Koran is deemed the holy book of Islam. However, along with the Hadith, (supplemental writings), there are no fewer than 33,000 references to demanding the death or persecution of Jews or Christians because they are not of their house of faith. This is certainly not love…
Yet California has school districts that are openly teaching the tenets of the Koran – without restriction. Not only does this show monumental hypocrisy, but it also defines just how specific and selective persecution goes on in our own country.
The challenge is to anyone to find the word “love” in the Koran. Even better, try to find a teaching on love in this book…
Since hate is the opposite of love, either Christian should be free to express their opinions. If not, the same sanctions should be put upon the Koran as well.
To be continued…
