ISRAEL UPDATENovember 7, 2004 – Put aside whether not our President is a member of the Democratic or Republican party, because there are two dynamics that alter all political stances.
One, there are the Congressmen and Senators that have the power to pass legislation, regardless of who is President. Two, there is a changing of stances due to political pressure and popular opinion.
Therefore, as of October 31, 2004, 48 hours prior to the election - rather than make a statement about the candidates, let us emphatically explain what will determine the destiny of America.
First, if America continues to abort babies at such a frenzied pace, G-d will surely intervene in judgment on this nation.
Second, if the issue of same-sex marriages is pushed and promoted, read the Scriptures and history see the results of all other nations that have gone down this same path.
Third, censorship and persecution against Christianity is on the rise. It is rising to new levels - trying to mute the voice of G-d.
Finally, will presidential policy, public opinion, and the legislation of the House and Senate continue to carve up G-d's divinely chosen piece of real estate – Israel - allowing His people to be scattered? If this transpires, read the third chapter of Joel, is not pleasant…
Promises made in the heat of a campaign mean nothing if the heartfelt conviction does not stand the test of opinion polls and special interest groups. G-d is watching to see how our leaders move in these areas. Our nation will either repent, or continue on the road to destruction.
November 7, 2004 - we see the true nature of G-d manifested in Genesis 6:18, when He said to Noah and his family, come into the Ark.
He did not say go into the Ark, or I will see you guys when this is all over, but He abode in the Ark before they did. He stayed with them from the instruction to build, all the way to establishing the covenant and beyond.
The members of Noah's family were the only ones wise enough to be obedient to G-d's instruction, even though it seemed to be a long time with no message from G-d. They received only the jeers and persecution of the scoffers of that day.
As the Ark began to rise above the sin, corruption, and the cries of those who mocked just minutes before, we can see a magnificent parallel to the Church today.
As sin increases, so does persecution. As scoffers mock, there are many who already have succumbed to the moment. Unfortunately, there will likely be many more that will miss G-d's mercy forever.
Just as the Ark rose above the flood of evil in its time, so will the Church - by way of the Rapture - be lifted up above the sea of wickedness and sin that we have in our world today.
In those days long ago, G-d had a few examples of faithfulness, righteousness, and obedience who declared his message. Today, He also has a remnant of those that have not bound their need to Baal.
G-d told Noah's family to come into the Ark – soon the true believing Church will hear G-d say “come up hither.” However, until then be faithful, obedient, and committed - so that you may enter into the joy of G-d's presence forever.
To be continued…
