However, both of her successors, John Major and Tony Blair, were in favor of these changes - apparently right time… right place…
Yasser Arafat, as head of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, could not put into place what his successor, Mahmoud Abbas, has been able to do. Mr. Arafat was a terrorist to many people. Mr. Abbas is also just a terrorist in diplomatic clothing… wearing a $2,000 suit. He is currently instituting policy that fits right in with Bible prophecy.
Pope John Paul II, although ultra-ecumenical, was still far too conservative to interact with the coming world dictator (Antichrist).
It would seem with these various scenarios that man should be able to create wonderful plans, programs, and ideas to bring about sweeping social, political, financial, and religious reform… yet the Scriptures tell us quite the opposite.
“And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.” Daniel 2:21
It might appear like a magnificent orchestration of news juggling and placement, but it is G-d performing His will and proving His sovereignty. He therefore gives hope to believers, empowering them to put their trust in His word.
April 24, 2005 - Esther is one of the great examples of a chaste lifestyle that G-d could call upon in an instant - knowing she was ready.
Her uncle Mordecai emphatically told her;”…thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this.” Esther 4:14b
What is so intriguing about this passage is the immediacy of the situation - no opportunity to attend discipleship training, and certainly no time to sit in counsel with the others about why am I here and what should I do…
Esther was selected because of her quality of lifestyle and her ability to focus on the need at hand. She would have to rise and act or her nation would possibly cease to exist.
G-d knew he was choosing the right person for the job, and I believe her uncle knew as well… that she was capable of handling the task.
Whether it is a pagan kingdom far removed from home, or our completion of godly duties for the Kingdom of G-d in this current day, we need to be prepared and ready at a moment’s notice.
The call has already gone out! Reading the Gospels, the question really boils down to… are we ready, and how will we respond?
Are we daily seeking to fulfill the Kingdom and diligently trying our best… or, on the other hand, are we like many in Christendom who want to be told what and where is their purpose for life?
