ISRAEL UPDATE

September 11, 2005 – While former Presidents George Bush, Bill Clinton and current President George W. Bush have presided over Israel’s covenant land being carved up and forcing negotiations with terrorists, look at what has happened to America -Six of seven of the costliest hurricanes in history, three of the four largest tornado outbreaks in history, nine of the top ten natural disasters ranked by FEMA and the two largest terrorist events in U.S. history.

How ironic these three are united to bring relief to the victims of Katrina, finding homes, jobs, repairing etc.

It is true the 8500 displaced Israelis removed from Gaza are being absorbed into Israel are will hopefully find homes, jobs, etc.

However, the difference will be as Katrina’s victims are moved to different states out of harms way, the displaced Israeli citizens can literally look within eyesight of a group of people bent on the destruction of the Jewish State.

It is hard to see victims of a natural disaster suffer but how much more troubling it is to see these Israelis not just driven off their covenant land and see it bulldozed but to know it was orchestrated through negotiations for peace.

Let us pray the Bush administration stops this policy before Israel is swarmed by a human tidal wave of fanatics seeking her total destruction in the name of Palestinian Nationalism.

September 11, 2005 – Was it G-d’s judgment that brought hurricane Katrina to the southeastern shores of our country last week or was it G-d’s grace coming in advance of a proposed open street orgy saving even thousands of more lives?

As I have personally watched these surreal events it causes me to look forward in Bible prophecy to the Great Tribulation that is to come in the future.

We see starvation, death, disease, anarchy, unrest and even the need to declare Martial Law because of all the plundering and an entire metropolitan city destroyed for all intents and purposes.

No, we are not in the tribulation yet but I truly believe after 9-11 and Katrina we, as a nation, ought to start realizing how vulnerable we are.

Terror acts carried out on our soil and the inability to protect ourselves from the sometimes violent forces of nature let us know why people on earth during the tribulation will call for the “mountains and rocks to fall on them to hide them from the wrath of G-d.”  Rev. 6:16

Katrina’s aftermath presents all of us with two new avenues: first, repent that our lives be pleasing to G-d and second, being an extension of love and support to those victims.  Let us start with these practices and go from there.
