ISRAEL UPDATESeptember 18, 2005 – During the last week of August Israeli Naval Patrols were sniped at in Gaza by Ahmed Jibril’s terror group
FLP-GC, (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command). This group and their leader is connected to Damascus Tehran terror network with Hizballah which have promised this man and his group access to the Gaza strip after Israel’s withdrawal.
If you don’t know about Ahmed Jibril, AKA Abu Jihad [Father Holy War] his career includes multiple attacks on civilian apartment complexes, Nurseries, Israeli military installations, tourist buses and several bombings of aircraft including Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerlie, Scotland killing 270 people.
Jibril is not only operating in Gaza but also has his eyes on the areas of Judea and Samaria where Israel is implementing other withdrawals. Apparently the Egyptian command will be unable to control this newest addition to the cesspool of terrorism called Gaza.
Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas not only has Hamas and Fatah controlling 90% of the Parliamentary seats, Islamic Jihad still operating and now has the PFLP-GC to content with, a group that has refused to negotiate with Israel for more than 30 years.
For all of those who stated land concessions for peace with murderers would create two states living side by side in peace obviously have not done their homework.
Isaiah 5:20 states, “Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil,” and judgement on the nations promoting this is not far away.
September 18, 2005 – There are always questions as to the authority of the scriptures especially for books like Job, Genesis, Isaiah and David.
Of course the new theory that John did not write the Gospel that bears his name that it was in fact written by Lazarus, is actually not new. One of the theories is that the Lazarus and rich man story found in Luke 16 indicates the Lazarus of the resurrection as the same Lazarus. Yet the Lazarus that experienced the power of the resurrection was a man that lived in Bethany. Luke 16:25 states, “Lazarus suffered evil things,” not fitting the scenario set out by these theologians.
Then there is the theory that Lazarus received special treatment because he had experienced the resurrection but then again so did Jarius’ daughter, Mark 5:41 and Luke 8:54,56 as well as the many that came out of the graves after Jesus’ death on the cross, Matt 27:52,23.
Of course, Bethany was not just special to Jesus because of Simon the Leper and Mary Magdalene, Matt 26:6, Mark 14:3.
Over the next few weeks more will be covered on this subject but keep in mind G-d does not just sent “new revelation” but only reveals what has been there all along.
If you hear of a new theory, make sure it is the whole counsel of G-d, does not bring confusion, and edifies, exhorts and comforts.
Any time someone says to forget all you’ve learned; beware!
