ISRAEL UPDATE

October 23, 2005 – When Moses first encountered Pharaoh with G-d’s edict, “Let my people go,” the ruler of Egypt was defiant to say the least.  “And Pharaoh said who is the L-rd that I should obey his voice to let Israel go, I know not G-d, neither will I let Israel go.”

Throughout history men, rulers of nations, leaders of religious groups have all been confronted with the G-d of Israel, which is also the G-d of the Christians.  In these confrontations each one has responded with varying degrees acceptance or rejection.

In the case of Pharaoh before it was all said and done his entire army was destroyed, every first born of his kingdom, man and beast, were dead and his massive slave labor force was on its way to its inheritance.

Today the world is rejecting the G-d of the Judeo-Christian ethic defying the very edicts he has established - Rejection of public display of the Ten Commandments, an epidemic of abortion, and placing blessing on every kind of sexual immorality.

It not that this generation is not exposed to the reality of the one, true G-d but rather where they place their wisdom and ideology and unless a change comes these people, leaders and nations will become like Pharaoh’s Egypt but the church and Israel will prevail.

October 23, 2005 – Do the nations of the world really seek peace or are they working both sides against the middle for their own benefit?

Britain Prime Minister, Toney Blair, and defense secretary, John Reid, have been holding secret talks with the Saudi Arabian government pursuing a huge arms deal worth up to L 40 billion, nearly 75 billion in U.S. currency, according to diplomatic sources.

Blair’s supposed no-negotiation policy with terrorists first becomes a clouded issue and it is no secret how many billions the Saudis have continued to pour into terrorism around the world.  Second, the Blair administration is spending billions fighting terrorists in Iraq that in one way or another are connected to the Saudi agenda i.e. the destruction of Israel.

Now any arms deal consummated with the deans of terrorism  places Saudi Arabia in a more dominant role in the Middle East and makes it easier for those weapons to be transferred to Israel’s enemies thus completely compromising the United States and its efforts in the peace process, both in Israel and Iraq.

I believe the nations of America and Britain are drunk with the idea of democratizing terrorists hoping to bring peace but these notions and the terrorists prove otherwise.

The apostle Paul was correct, “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not.”  II Cor. 4:4 and the nations of the world rush toward Armageddon crying peace.
