ISRAEL UPDATENovember 27, 2005 - It’s hard to believe that in the past six to eight months so many of our nation’s leaders were telling us Iran and it’s nuclear program is not a threat.
Of course, Iran’s hard-line president, Mahmoud Ah Madinejad called last month for Israel to be “wiped off the map,” a quote from deceased Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. The Iranian president also called for Palestinian unity, resistance and the “annihilation of the Zionist regime.”
While his followers chanted “death to Israel” and also made threats to “anyone who signs a treaty which recognizes the entity of Israel means he has signed the surrender of Muslim world.”
Further, he stated that any Muslim leader who recognize Israel faces the wrath of their own people.
This one-day conference had in attendance Sheik Hassan Masrallah, head of the militant Hezbollah terror group as well as members of Hamas and as expected by this writer the Ambassador of Syria and representatives of the Palestinian Authority. Regardless of what the media and politicians say there is a coming war between Islam and the West. It will be over Israel and the only nations truly holding back the threat of Islam worldwide is the U.S. and Britain, which at this moment are moving the wrong direction while G-d looks on waiting for them to do what is right.
November 27, 2005 – People dying at a young age from physical maladies that literally ate themselves to death, a mother torn from her family by a drunk driver, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, wars, rumors of wars, economic uncertainty, fear of fuel shortages; the list is endless - but one pastor put it so well when he said things are out of sorts because nothing is in place.
Satan, the murderer and robber is not in prison; Jesus at present is not on His throne and His bride the church is not with the groom Jesus. So while we wait and hope for the redemption from this sin wrecked, wicked world we must not lose sight of the fact we are just pilgrims wandering through a land, which is not ours.
I know and believe that we are looking forward to the rapture of the church but until then we must comfort one another with these words, I Thess. 4:15-17.
I know that one way I can comfort you is with a little mathematical fact, the first two chapters of the Bible you do not find the devil, and the same can be said of the last two chapters, there is no devil to be found!
Do not lose hope my friend, do not be down trodden but rather look up for your redemption draweth nigh, Luke 21:28. It ain’t over yet but it will be!
