ISRAEL UPDATE
January 22, 2006 – British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw stated recently, “My personal opinion is whoever is running the nation of Israel will be able to take this policy forward.”
Perhaps this mentality is one of the great errors in world opinion since the Gaza pull out of last August by Israel, which has shown that area to be nothing more than chaos, mayhem and instability.
Are we to assume that by Israel relinquishing the area of Judea Samaria (West Bank) to terrorists that the situation will get better?
Palestinian terror groups were forcefully removed from Jordan in 1970 after an unbridled stay raping and pillaging the Hashemite Kingdom. Lebanon has been worse yet as not only Palestinian terrorists but the Syrian Army have occupied the nation for more than three decades literally destroying it.
One will never know how nations built on democracy and freedom such as the United States and Great Britain would continually push for such actions knowing the unresolved issue of Lebanon and the Gaza free-for-all.
I will emphatically state as I have since the Camp David Accord of Begin, Sadat and Carter in 1977 that these moves accomplish four things, the destabilization of the region, the bolstering of Israel’s enemies, the compromise of Israel’s security and the displeasure of G-d for such actions, which can only lead to G-d’s judgment of which the nations and leaders of the world are not prepared for.
January 22, 2006 – Jewish tradition refers to the anti Christ by the name Armilus probably coming fro the Persian god of evil Ahriman.
It is interesting to note the first mention of Armilus is in the Targum (commentary) to Isaiah 11:4 where it says Messiah will slay with his lips the wicked Armilus.
If we review New Testament scripture we will find the same truth confirmed by the Apostle Paul in II Thess. 2:8, “And then shall that Wicked be revealed whom the L-rd shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.”
First of all, we see the continuity of the theme from both Testaments but it gives us insight to earlier Jewish theology.
Second, we come to reality that the theory of a “last days physical anti Christ” was supposedly conjured up by “rapture believers” or dispensationalists within the last 20 years.
Finally we can rest in the fact G-d’s word can and will interpret itself correctly if we allow it to do so.
I personally will go on record as saying not only is the anti Christ going to come as the scriptures clearly teach but that spirit is already alive and working as future writings will bear this out.
To be continued…
