ISRAEL UPDATE

April 23, 2006 – If you have followed the Middle East forum at all you have likely heard of U.N. Resolution #242 and #338 that call for many concessions and Israeli withdrawal from controversial areas.

Of course, I have yet to hear anything about the U.N. resolution that clearly calls for the withdrawal of all Syrian forces from the once sovereign nation of Lebanon.  As the Syrian occupation is now in it’s fourth decade many things can be said concerning this.

First, since Lebanon has ceased to function as a sovereign democratic nation Syria has systematically persecuted and slaughtered Christians as well as other groups.

Second, as a puppet of Tehran and Damascus, Lebanon has for decades, been a dragon’s lair of terrorist training facilities and staging areas to attack Israel.

You hear so much about the unrest in the Middle East and most, if not all the blame is laid on Israel regardless of how many concessions they have made.

However, if you research Syria’s intervention since 1975 you would see countless refugees, mass amounts of graves, untold persecution and the systematic rape and pillage of both a nation and its people.

It is interesting to note that the United Nations, European Union, Quartet  World Council of Churches and a growing list of other entities continue to demand from Israel yet Syria runs wild in Lebanon unrestrained and uncontested.

April 23, 2006 – For more that a millennia people have maintained that Jesus of Nazareth married Mary Magdalene and had children.  An the theory that Jesus never died on the cross but was only medicated are again being exposed as plausible theory.

Oh, let us not forget the theory of the Scroll of Judas that supposedly rewrites the account of Christ’s betrayal and death.

With all of these conjectures and theories the reality is this, the deity of Christ is being assaulted as well as the sovereignty of G-d.  But ask yourself, if Jesus was married, would He not have been asking the disciple John to care for both His wife and mother?  Moreover, if the Christ didn’t die, why do the Gospel writers account for complete surprise at the realization that His body was not there?

The believers the scroll of Judas completely eradicates Christ and G-d ‘s predetermined plan of Rev. 13:8 and countless Messianic prophecies describing betrayal by a friend for an paltry sum of money.

One can’t help but realize that these attacks always renew themselves at specific times of the year such as Easter and Christmas.  The age old principle is true, anytime G-d arises and builds, Satan arises and opposes.  However, the reality of the resurrection and Christ’s deity is a reality regardless of new marketing scams.
