ISRAEL UPDATE

June 25, 2006 – The nation of Iran was nearly 90% completed with their volatile nuclear program a year ago when many “experts” were prognosticating that this nation was not an issue of safety or security.

Iran, an oil rich rogue nation, has at its disposal their Revolutionary Guard and terror groups Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and the cooperation of other terror groups and nations.

The veiled threats of this nation’s intimidation of the nuclear destruction of Israel and pressure against America are still real even though not openly declared.

History bears the fact that the wild-eyed rhetoric of Hitler’s Nazi Germany was not taken seriously thus came the Holocaust of the Jews and plunged the majority of the world’s nations into World War.

In 1938, Hitler convinced British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain and his allies they had reached “peace in our time” unfortunately our time lasted less than a year.

We may very well see a time in the near future when Iran might make some peaceful overtures to the West but don’t hold your breath! 

The very essence of the Anti Christ and the spirit that would precede him is deception and the world is being duped into a false sense of security.

 

June 25, 2006 – The Apostle Paul defined a time in history when men would declare peace and safety only to be thrown into chaos, upheaval and sudden destruction enveloping all those involved, I Thess 5:1-3.

While this prophecy is still yet to happen, we can see a frightening parallel unfolding in Israel even as we write.   Since 1977, the Palestinian issue has come to the forefront with the help of the Camp David Accord and subsequent peace agreements broken by the Western World leaders.

Since these monumental events, the world in general accepted the PLO and Yasser Arafat as the legitimate voice and representative of the Palestinians.  This happened until last year’s election in Gaza placed a majority of Hamas leaders in the Palestinian Parliament. 

Since then the corruption of the PLO’s leadership and their phony peace innuendo have caused problems with rival terror groups.  Now there is a civil war unreported by the media between PLO factions and Hamas, both warring for power, destabilizing the peace process the Western experts have fought for so hard.

The round table “talking heads” have attempted to gain peace between Israel and the Palestinians yet the Palestinians are killing each other and G_d’s word, is once again, proven accurate.
