ISRAEL UPDATE
September 17, 2006 – Last month President Bush ordered a fresh evaluation of the Olmert Administration and then questioned whether or not Israel is robust enough to count as a strong and stable political and military force.
When compared to an Islam controlled Lebanon, a terrorist controlled Palestinian Autonomous state, an Afghanistan that could topple at any moment or a war torn Iraq, you be the judge.
Israel will stand according to G-d’s word but when the free nations of the world don’t support her obviously her job is more difficult. For instance, when President Bush was reelected in November 2004 Prime Minister Blair told our President that the number one geo political problem in the world was the Israeli/Palestinian issue. Then one day after the London rail system attack by suicide bombers the same Tony Blair announced on July 8, 2006 that the G-8 would provide 3 billion dollars to the Palestinians.
Within a month the Israelis withdrew from Gaza and mortar and rockets attacks pummeled Israel and culminated with this years kidnapping and murder of Israeli soldiers.
I pray daily for G-d to bless our President and all of the leaders in the world regarding Israel’s future but as long as the “free world” pours billions into the coffers of terrorism Israel won’t be the only democracy being questions but the U.K. and U.S. have to be included in the same group.
September 17, 2006 – In today’s modern world we are told that we must understand other people’s opinions and beliefs because it is their reality.
How many people around the world deny the Holocaust, state it never happened and all those victims are liars.
It was barely a year ago that many experts told us Iran and their nuclear program was no threat and we should not be worried. The Gulf Coast ravaged by Hurricane Katrina last fall probably could have been minimized by precautionary measures yet many didn’t feel the need to be worried.
Life is really not about our concept of reality but actually is how reality plays out in our lives. Adam and Eve’s reality played out then they were removed from the Garden of Eden due to their disobedience, Gen. 3:24.
King Saul lost his kingdom and lost out with G-d because the reality of his decision proved too costly, I Samuel 15:28.
Of course no one can forget how that Ananias and Sapphira learned the true reality after their sinning, Acts 5:1-11 but never lived to tell about it.
Perceived reality or true reality lies not in what we think is right but what G-d’s word states and how we live it out. We need to be sure we know the difference.
