ISRAEL UPDATE

 November 26, 2006 – As I write this article “Christian Zionists” are being labeled as cultic, books are being written and lectures given as to these fervent believers being the root of the problem in the Middle East.

 However, I cannot help but wonder about the rest of the influential groups that are so pro Arab, their bias is grossly obvious.   Does the Untied Nations exacerbate, the problem between Israel and the Palestinians by pouring money into terror group’s coffers rather than putting money into housing, education and medical treatment? 

 The European Union and others call for the boycott of goods produced in the quote occupied territories depriving Israelis and Palestinians of desperately needed income.

 Of course, neither time nor space would permit the naming of all the watchdog groups that keep Israel’s military procedure under the microscope, all the while allowing groups like Hezbollah to run wild and unchecked. 

 Finally, the church groups that support the other side divesting financial investment in Israel and supporting the cause of Islam bent on the destruction of both America and Israel i.e. Judaism and Christianity, a strong paradox. 

 When men like Dietrich Bonhoffer stood up for the true confessing German church and the persecution of the Jews he was labeled as a heretic, malcontent, and traitor, apparently we pro Israel Christians are no better off in our own country.

 

 November 26, 2006 – What a strange turn of events within the past two weeks as a German Pastor, Roland Weisselberg commits suicide over the rise of Islam in his native country.

 Then on of America’s most well known pastors is in Syria giving gifts to the President and commending the religious leadership of Syria for its unity, desire for peace and proper treatment of people.

 The German Pastor saw the true threat of what this religious system could do but lost sight of where our help comes from and the gates of Hell not prevailing against G-d’s institution. 

 However, the American pastor seems to think that placating, presentation and passive overtures will change the thought process and mentality of this rogue nation. 

 The American pastor either knows literally nothing of the region’s history and Syria’s part in constantly starting wars, promoting terrorism, and it’s vehement anti Israel/American stance or is choosing to ignore it; in either case, I’m not sure which is worse.

 Perhaps the artistic drawing given to President Bashar Assad will break Syria’s ties with Russia and Iran or cause them to drop their support of terror groups such as Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and Hamas.

 Two pastors, two different approaches to the problem but both completely polarized to G-d’s plan and purpose, but make no mistake about Islam, it is not anywhere near to what the American pastor presented and it seeks to destroy America and Israel, Judaism and Christianity.
