ISRAEL UPDATE

 December 3, 2006 – A retired Israeli officer recently told me that the 33 day war in Lebanon between Hezbollah and his nation happened because the focus had been on Gaza and all if its terrorist activities.

 Of course the situation in Gaza although not making the headlines of the mainstream media has massive amounts of weapons being transported from Egypt into Gaza.

 One cannot help but think of this paradoxical scenario, Egypt, the nation that signed the first peace accord with Israel, helping the terrorists.

 With all of the clamor of opposing forces demanding Israel concede more land in the name of peace when the Sinai Peninsula, equated to 90 % of “occupied land” seized in 1967.

 Of course, another irony of this situation is Egypt is supposed to be a moderate Arab nation, therefore to be considered a viable voice in the peace process.

 Israel now faces Hezbollah in Lebanon who is receiving weaponry and supplies from Iran, Syria, and Russia and moderate Egypt is doing the same for Hamas and Islamic Jihad. 

 Pressure is coming from radical terror groups and nations as well as moderates such as Egypt and Saudi Arabia which prove that the initiation of the Camp David Accords three decades ago are worthless like all those that followed.

 

December 3, 2006 – Spain, France and Italy have decided to become more vocal in their demands for Israel to make more concessions to the Palestinians in order to attain peace.    Italy’s political leadership has made it very plain that while Rome has the Vatican, the Pope and Catholicism, the rest of Italy is a secular state.

 France’s leaders are doing their best to sanitize itself from all external evidence of religion as it also declares itself a secular state.

 Spain is not new member to the anti Semitic group of nations as it’s hateful roots go back centuries and by definition is probably secular at best by definition.

 The European continent as a whole is truly individually and corporately raising the bar of expectation on Israel under the guise of a secular concept of peace.  Yet, the influence of Islam is so strong within the borders of Europe that even though secular is the declaration, it still is religiously influenced. 

 This is one of the proofs that the spirit of Anti Christ is alive and well, a pseudo sterilization of religious influence with the foundation being a false religious system. 

 As Christianity faces the same battle especially during the holidays secular groups remove traces of our belief system yet promote others.   Again the forces so anti Israel and Judaism have the same root as the anti American/Christian forces a fact that cannot be denied.
