ISRAEL UPDATE
February 11, 2007 – While our nation continues the debate over the war in Iraq, the overflow of corruption, violence and preparation for war, Israel has taken a back seat.
The instability of this troubled nation that seeks to establish democracy, resolve the sectarian violence and gain national autonomy is a volatile saga to say the least.
It is a well established fact that the peace process in Israel, which is gaining much more attention from the evil forces, has not come to fruition either.
The two primary building blocks of the Israeli/Palestinian negotiations was supposed to be twofold, one, direct negotiations between the two groups and second, both groups continue on the path agreed until all was fulfilled.
In both cases extremist operatives are conducting suicide bombings and the wholesale slaughter of innocent civilians, military and government personnel.
Again, both scenarios are unsuccessful as so many “civilized nations” are supporting the anti Israel/U.S. policies and strengthening the terrorists.
Before you get too critical of our President, look at all of the nations that are complicating the peace process in Israel and the establishment of democracy in Iraq, Syria, Iran, Russia, China, Saudi Arabia and all the terrorist groups are destabilizing the peace process, disrupting democracy and proving peace is not the object.
February 11, 2007 – What, if any, is the significance of German Chancellor Andrea Merkel and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas speaking at the World Economic Forum?
The German leader pledged a stronger European Union’s effort in the Middle East peace process, and also had productive meetings with President Bush as well as Vladimir Putin and Tony Blair.
Of course, Israel’s Vice Premier Tzipi Livzi, has alluded to success for the peace process is to take power away from the extremists and empower the moderates, as if there is any vast difference between a radical terrorist and a moderate terrorist.
Within the framework of this thought process is another factor shows that sticking with the right group can be more financially beneficial rather than the extremists.
The coffers of Hezbollah, al Queida, Hamas and the rest are bloated with the bloodmoney of oil from both radical and moderate nations of the world, to what do they compare?
In essence the deceased Arafat, and then Abbas were receiving funds from the free world of Western Europe and the radical nations of the world, a trend that continues still.
Money flows and then blood flows, negotiations are made then broken, stability is usurped by violence and the world’s leaders keep throwing money at the problem into the infrastructure, thus the first part of the roadmap peace plan has not implemented but rather is trodden under and the world is at the brink of war.
