ISRAEL UPDATE

April 1, 2007 – Radical terror group Hamas controls part of the Palestinian government in Gaza, while the other portion is still ran by Mahmoud Abbas and the two are at odds to say the least.

Even more perplexing is our nation and the European Union continue to fund and train the Abbas part of the camp even though it is be bent on Israel’s destruction.

Hamas also is bent on Israel’s destruction but is seeking and receiving support from Iran to counter the generosity of the western nations.

The man-made wisdom of the world’s Gentile population is creating an escalating crisis in the name of peace, safety and security but all the while only destabilizes the region pushing it closer to the brink of war.

An Iraqi veteran recently returned from the war on terror and told me the Iranian Coast Guard has attempted to engage U.S. Forces located fifty-five miles from the Persian Coast well past the international marker.

Iran is looking for a fight with our nation and Israel so if they bolster Hamas to engage Israel, this increases their chances as they hope the U.S. would intervene.

But whether it is the west with the Abba terror camp or the Iranian connection to Hamas as well as Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah, the world will suffer due to man’s wisdom.

Jesus told us in Matt. 12:25, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”  The terrorists on day will all unite attempting to destroy Israel and when they do it will be because man’s wisdom divided the house of America and Israel and we all will suffer then.

 

April 1, 2007 – What Christians call Palm Sunday recounts one of the most noted stories of the New Testament as Jesus rides His  colt in Jerusalem just one week before his death, burial and resurrection, Matt 21:8-10.

What an intriguing passage of scripture that first is a fulfillment of the prophecy found in Zech. 9:9 state this very event would happen.

Second like any true godly event everyone was moved some toward G_d unfortunately many moved away from the salvation about to be offered, just as was prophesied in Daniel 9:26.

Finally as the events unfold a collision occurs between the forces of evil and the sovereign plan of G_d.  The very blinded spiritual eyes of the religious system attempted to destroy the reality of Christ first by the crucifixion then attempting to remove any trace of the resurrection ala 2007, some things never change. 

The whole plan of G_d is misconstrued by most.  Some say it is G_d’s desire, some say it is G_d’s resolve that accomplishes the completed work.

As we read the story of Palm Sunday and the weeks following we see first G_d’s desire for all men to be saved but we also wee his resolve. 

Try as they might back then and today they have not been successful because G_d’s resolve accomplishes His will, He sent Jesus to save us (all) and those that accept the gift have eternal life.
