ISRAEL UPDATE

June 17, 2007 – To see just how much influence Iran has in the dynamic called “The War on Terror” start with Gaza.    Of course the same could be said of Lebanon and Syria and that same network stretches from Afghanistan to Iraq. 

Realizing this it is not hard to see that both Israel and the U.S. interests are compromised and both nations stand to lose much.  Coupled with this factor is the Russian bond with Iran growing stronger day by day.  If that is the case then just how far can the ties between the U.S. and Russian Governments go before being broken as Russians support of Islam simultaneously grows stronger?

Since its inception the State of Israel has always been the issue in national foreign policy and as the tide continues to rise against her America’s religious and political leaders have a serious decision to make.  Do we continue to support Israel in light of the Gentile powers joining forces with Islam or do we change and go with the rest of the world?

The scriptures are full of guarantees of curses or promises of blessing depending on how G-d’s chosen people and land are treated and we must pray our leaders choose to do what’s right.

 

June 17, 2007 – In Daniel 2:31-45 The prophet defines Gentile domination in the world both during his life and in the time to come.   The sphere of Gentile dominance today can be felt in the United Nations, European Union, The Quartet and both the World and National Council of Churches.

At the present Europe, a continent that truly benefited from U.S. intervention during World War II, is shifting its loyalty from our nation to the Arab/Islamic nations of the world.

While America still has a few allies on the European Continent the majority of the nations feel that the U.S./Israel bond is more of a security risk to the world than the nations that harbor, fund, train terrorists, then launch terror attacks around the world. 

The U.S./Israel role in the world’s view may be controversial and readily debated, however, in reality they are in part the only true roadblocks to terrorism worldwide.  Thus the two nations although not perfect still at the core are pure in what they desire, peace and freedom from the threat of terror.

It is hard to imagine that nations that felt the brunt of the Nazis, Fascists, and Communists, who were aligned with Imperial Japan would label Israel and America unfairly but it is in fact the spirit of the age and it is also prophetic fulfillment.
