ISRAEL UPDATE

June 24, 2007 – As America continues its war on terror that divides our nation and shakes us to the core and as we look for answers, don’t forget Israel and her enemies.

Since 9-11 America has tried to build friendships with many of the very nations that seek her destruction.  They have received harpoon anti-ship missiles, F-16 Fighters, Apache Helicopters, Abrams Main battle tanks, JDAM Bombs, AWACS Radar planes and Avenger air defense systems.

The peace accords put in place the past fourteen years have not only made Israel more vulnerable geographically to these weapons but have allowed terrorists to be poised within a very short distance of civilian targets.

It should be noted that since the Arafat/Rabin handshake sealing the Clinton brokered Oslo I Peace Accord, 2000 Israelis have been killed, 14,000 wounded and only G-d knows how many scarred emotionally.

So as the American War on terror goes on so does the onslaught to destroy Israel and the world’s leaders are propping up Israel and America’s common enemy Fundamental Islam seeking to destroy both nations.

Obviously man made peace plans, contrary to G-d’s word, are doing the exact opposite and it appears only the millennial reign of Christ can undo the fiasco man’s wisdom has created.

 

June 24, 2007 – There are many scriptures that give details regarding a great spiritual deception in the time just preceding the return of Jesus.  While it is distressing to see this it is also encouraging knowing G-d created man to have fellowship with Him and people seek to fill this void everyway possible.

One can drive through “Any City U.S.A.” and see multiple psychics and seers offering their wisdom for a price.  Of course, I always question where these people were prior to 9-11, Hurricane Katrina or a list of other natural or man-made disasters that potentially could have been avoided had someone let the world know.

In contrast we read Isaiah 8:19-20 “And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their G-d? for the living to the dead?  To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”

To date, should G-d choose to notify us of impending events or a need to change He does so with indefinable accuracy.  There is a light shining in the darkness and there is both truth and hope, so in these dark times let G-d’s word shine on you as you walk in the anticipation of His son’s return.
