ISRAEL UPDATE

August 5, 2007 – Last month submarines from the U.S. Navy sunk a North Korean freighter headed for Iran which was carrying a load of weapons-grade plutonium and equipment for engines used for manufacturing Iran’s nuclear program which could have sped up production by one year threatening Israel and the U.S.

Tony Blair is working between Israel and the Palestinian State in Gaza trying to establish a secure government that is finally politically and militarily stable and not a threat to the Jewish State; good luck Mr. Blair!

The world as a whole continues to clamor for a democratic Palestinian State within Israel’s borders, however, most people do not realize the neighboring Jordan is seventy percent Palestinian which was originally named the Hashemite Kingdom of Palestine.

Further, with the uncontrolled civil war in Gaza causing untold suffering and death to the Palestinian residents it appears there is more concern over settlement activities in and around Jerusalem. 

Finally, King Abdullah II of Jordan is pressing our President to speed up the peace efforts and asking Israel to ease limits on the Palestinians.

Condoleezza Rice is declaring there must be a Palestinian  State which they have although shaky and unruly and President Bush coined the slogan, “Israel and Palestine living side by side in Peace” but the Palestinians and all of their brothers are doing all they can to establish the Palestinian state and destroy Israel. 

 

August 5, 2007 – Amazing, that with all of the events unfolding before our eyes that people continue to question the relevance of G-d’s word.  In fact, you can ready many Bible commentaries that declare the prophetic aspects of the scriptures are only poetic and cannot be used to interpret events in the last days. 

So, how do we interpret the world as a whole moving toward a universal monetary and personal identification system? 

The world as it sits could be destroyed twice over with the nuclear arms that have been amassed by so many nations.  We see the world opinion shifting against Israel and anti-Semitism is on the rise in all nations of the world. 

Famine, disease, epidemics of every kind are on the rise and hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes escalate in both frequency and intensity.  The practices of sin and debauchery, promiscuity, rebellion and no respect for authority are also signs of the times we live in.

Isaiah 46:9-10 settles the question.

Isaiah 46:9  Remember the former things of old: for I am G-d, and there is none else; I am G-d, and there is none like me,

v. 10  Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
