ISRAEL UPDATE

August 19, 2007 – Keep your eyes on Israel, the war waged last summer between the Jewish State and Hezbollah more than likely will be played out again in the near future.

Ironic that Tony Blair has become the Quartet’s diplomat sent to the region to iron out differences and the Arab league will be sending an entourage to also negotiate with Israel.

Again it is ironic that the extremist terror group Hamas after disrupting the democratic beginnings of a Palestinian State is still considered as viable to negotiations between the PA and Israel.

It is ironic that Russia, China and Iran are doing their best to build up the armies of Israel’s enemies, demanding a Palestinian State and pressuring America to taper its support of the nation that has been carved up and given to predators.

Truthfully the essence of this scenario is nothing more than a well orchestrated attack against Israel from every conceivable direction whether it be religious, military, political or financial.

Maybe not this time around but certainly one day war will break out and as all the barriers of protection have been destroyed Israel will be brought to the negotiating table but one more time.

The fact that so much is happening at such a frantic pace and not everyone is aware of it in no way diminishes the threat to Israel nor the intensified need to come and support her.

 

 August 19, 2007 – The Bear of the North whether it be the former U.S.S.R. or current Russian Republic has always supplied men and materials to our enemies, engaged our nation in a cold war and has personally seen to human rights violations and oppression of Jew and Christian alike. 

 China was both covertly and overtly engaged against our nation during the Korean and Vietnam wars and likewise been a nation of human rights violations against the church and currently also seeks to undermine our nation at every turn. 

 Can Saudi Arabia, the terror funding giant of the Middle East, a nation known for its strict adherence to Islamic Law and a nation that labors so vigorously to undermine the peace process in Israel, be called our friends?

The list could go on and on with may nations like those described here however, one cannot help but wonder why our nation has befriended and seeks to continue relations with those that are diametrically opposed to our beliefs.

 Money is the answer.  Our nation’s greed has led down a primrose path that has not only compromised our nation militarily but financially as well, all in the name of friendship. 

 Joshua chapter nine details the inhabitants of Canaan deceiving the leadership of Israel into making a covenant of protection and they were bound to it much to their dismay.

 Our nation has made the same type of pact, the difference is the nations we have covenanted with will bring about our destruction as they will turn on us when the time comes and we have no one to blame but ourselves.
