ISRAEL UPDATE

September 23, 2007 – From 1880 the beginning of the return of the Jews to modern Israel has been a continual battle for survival with her neighbors.

Two particular events that unfortunately stand out in this short but violent history were the Arab riots of 1929 and 1936.  On both occasions many innocent Jews were either killed or wounded and their homes and businesses suffered much damage.

Ironically the British then in charge of the Palestinian Mandate did very little, if anything, to help the Jewish plight and actually helped the antagonistic Arabs. 

More deplorable is the fact that during this time the Government of Germany was doing much to help the Arabs financially.  What an ironic twist that Germany would be so detrimental to the British nation during World War II and would be working the same angle against the Jews as the British.

Tragically we are seeing the nations of the world headed toward Armageddon as they divide G-d’s land, scatter His people and are supporting the very nations of the world desiring both America and Israel’s destruction and gaining world dominance.

Appeasement of Israel’s enemies has never benefited any one in the past and certainly we are seeing devastating results that ultimately will lead to the final showdown.

 

September 23, 2007 – It’s an age old question – What kind of a G-d would send people to Hell or bring judgment to the world?

Perhaps one of the greatest tragedies in mankind’s history is the misconception of G-d and His nature and ultimately the destruction of people and nations.

As Paul instructed Titus on the dangers of false teachers and their negative affect, the apostle lays the truth on the line.  Titus 3:11 states, “Knowing that such a person is warped and sinning being self condemned” NKJ.  And in this verse we see the real truth of G-d.  

First, he states the people living in falsehood are both warped as in much of the damage is already done and second, this person is sinning as in the continual practice.

So we must realize the deception of life shows us a process not just started but due to no change is a continual sliding downward.  Furthermore we see because of man’s hardening of his heart he is self condemned and I cannot help but see G-d’s truth.

Man is self condemned, why, because it is self rejection of G-d’s light and truth that creates this predicament.

G-d is loving and of mercy, slow to wrath, and not willing that any should perish so it is not G-d that sends people to Hell or brings judgment, it is the sinful nature of man, be assured of that.
