ISRAEL UPDATE

October 7, 2007 – Mahmoud Abbas, terrorist converted to President of the Palestinian Authority, placated our President this past week in a speech declaring that it is in Israel’s best interest to have a democracy living side by side with the Jewish State. 

He reaffirmed the efforts of Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice speaking for the interest of his government and wanting the Palestinians to achieve their goal.

Abbas again bolstered the President by stating he believed strongly in your vision, i.e. the President’s, and that negotiations would lead to permanent status and a permanent peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians – notice agreement not treaty!   Abbas then promoted the idea of the Road Map which includes “your vision” as well as the Arab initiative.  

The Palestinian President then stated he would depend upon the President, serious supports, and efforts to reach a just and durable peace.

The speech then declared Gaza and Judea-Samaria as constituent parts of the Palestinian territory and continued to reiterate the legitimacy of the Palestinian people’s rights to land, peace and established government.

Tragically in this speech nothing is really declared about what Israel is entitled to and second, it is nothing but terminology of your vision, our rights and our land, etc. 

How absurd to declare man’s ideas and schemes and yet totally leave G-d out of the picture, thus the failures in the past will repeat themselves as G-d has yet to be enquired of.

 

October 7, 2007 – The essence of G-d and Judeo-Christian values has been slowly but ever so steadily removed from public life very systematically and efficiently.  The dual standard of the liberal agenda is both hypocritical and violates the rights of Christian believers while bolstering the rights of the opposition.

No, we will not allow creation to be taught side by side with evolution as an alternative theory but we will allow alternative sexual lifestyles to be propagated in place of heterosexual practices. 

No, we cannot have displays of the Ten Commandments in public settings nor crosses to be displayed even on private lands but everything else goes. 

Now with the removal of the Judeo-Christian symbols however, we will eliminate Holocaust teaching from the school’s curriculum because it offends Muslim students.

There is now talk of installing foot-washing apparatuses in schools to accommodate Muslim students observance of their religion.

I wonder if school cafeterias will now offer kosher food options to Jewish and Seventh Day Adventist students since eating pork is forbidden by their religion. 

Not only are we calling good evil and evil good in these last days, but the essence of freedom of speech has been lost due to offense.  I guess the Iranian President’s volatile speech last week for many will go unchecked because it offended only a certain part of the population.
