ISRAEL UPDATE

November 11, 2007 – Thirty years ago the world saw the leaders of Egypt, Israel and America come together to hammer out what would eventually become the Camp David legacy.  Of course Begin, Sadat and Carter ended up including the Palestinians as part of the all inclusive package and we don’t hear about Egypt but we constantly hear about the Palestinians.

The Oslo Accords were conceived by the U.S. leadership under President Bill Clinton, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzak Rabin and the Dean of Murderers Yasser Arafat.

The loss of Israeli life under these conditions or peace have been appalling especially given the fact that Israel has given up so much land in order to guarantee peace.

Obviously the two millstones of Middle East Diplomacy are being followed by the newest round of talks between Israel and the Palestinians, supposedly with the help of our current administration.

How grieved I am to know that first our nation continues in the same tragic legacy attempting to gain peace all the while failing and second we tamper with G-d’s blessing as we are seeking the advice of those whose policies have failed miserably in the past, thus we are repeating history.

November 11, 2007 – One of the sadder notes in church history is the million men, women and children bound hand and foot then thrown into Europe’s rivers in protest of the baptism style they practiced.

Scores of Jewish men, women and children were murdered and raped and their land and possession plundered by Christian Crusaders on their way to liberate the Holy Land from infidels.

Germany was a nation that boasted to be a nation that was 90% Christian but sadly the atrocities of that dark time were perpetuated by religious violence.

Of course modern times have shown untold murder and persecution carried out against Christians by two of the worlds religions supposedly peaceful and tolerant.

As this horrific trend continues our goal must be a pure heart as we engage in the pursuit of our walk with G-d, “My face is flushed from weeping and on my eyelids is the shadow of death, although no violence is in my hands, and my prayer is pure.”  Job 16:17 NKJV
