ISRAEL UPDATE
November 18, 2007 – When Anwar Sadat, Mechem Begin and Jimmy Carter rolled the dice at Camp David Egypt got the Sinai, the Palestinians were brought to the table and Israel got a promise of peace.
Clinton, Rabin and Arafat rolled the dice at Oslo, Clinton received accolades, Arafat the murderer got a nation, and Rabin got a promise of peace and more blood flowed than ever before.
Again rolling the dice, subsequent Accords convened at Wye River, again at Camp David and Sharm e Sheik, the terrorists got more land and Israel’s promise of peace became bleaker than ever.
World leaders rolled the dice instigating and manipulating the Israeli withdrawal from the enclave of Southern Lebanon, creating persecution for Christians and woes of war for Israel.
In the name of democracy the dice were rolled. Israel again lost, withdrew from Gaza and within hours of Israel’s withdrawal mortar and rockets descended on Israel and the violence continues.
The problem with the world rolling the dice against Israel is that it commits two evils. First it divides G-d’s covenant land and second it scatters His people contrary to the almighty plan as seen in Joel 3:1-3.
Albert Einstein said, “G-d doesn’t play dice. If He did, He would win.” Admittedly the losses geographically, physically and financially have been hard however one day the dice will be rolled one too many times and G-d will intervene on behalf of Israel and she won’t just win, she will prevail against overwhelming odds!
November 18, 2007 – Rammi Ayyad’s bloody body was found with multiple stab wounds and his skull had been crushed. This brutal murder was carried out in Gaza City by Palestinian terrorists.
Ayyad, father of two and expecting the birth of a third, had committed two crimes, he ran a Christian bookstore and was the head of the Bible Society in his area.
The Muslim radicals have vowed to drive out all Christians that refuse to immediately convert to Islam obviously a very dangerous scenario.
One of the major building blocks of the road map for peace is the mutual coexistence of two states, Israeli and Palestinian living side by side and both operating democratic forms of government.
One cannot help but ask if Christians do not immediately convert to Islam, just how democratic this solution is?
Also, can anyone wonder about the rape, pillage and murder of Christians in Lebanon for more than three decades by Islamic Militants and reflect how that was once a democratic nation with a large Christian population.
We have had so many Presidential administrations declaring the need for democracy in the Middle East but as of yet the nation of Lebanon and Palestinian Authority are proving the exact opposite.
One thing is for sure in the case of the above mentioned Israel’s population has suffered and certainly Christians are persecuted, obviously the plan is failing miserably.
