ISRAEL UPDATE

October 21, 2001 - Many prophecy teachers have stated that with the shrinking of the physical presence of England around the world that this is a fulfillment of Daniel's prophecy in Dan. 7:4 where it states that the Lion has been given the heart of a man.

One must seriously question however, the relevance of this interpretation since at present the United Kingdom is still very powerful and influential in world matters.

This was born out in Prime Ministers Tony Blair's call for an independent Palestinian state this past week as well as a strong British representation in the Afghanistan "war on terrorism."

Muslims have long maintained that if they could control England they could in turn dominate the world, which they have made great strides in accomplishing this in the past twenty years.

Perhaps we should look at the Lion of Britain having the heart of man in light of their turning their back on G-d as a nation.

England, the home of Bunyan, the Wesleys and Spurgeon a bastion of Christian theology and leadership has transcended from the Beatles and Rolling Stones to the spirit of anti Christ manifested in Islam and anti-Semitism.

At present, England, in this writers opinion, is one of Israel's worst enemies and has gone very far in the opposite direction of G-d's word and in fact has the heart of man, not the will of G-d.
 

October 21, 2001 - Let me state briefly why America could lose this war on terrorism that she finds herself embroiled in at the present.

First, we must recognize terrorism. Osama bin Laden might be the focus of our attack but Islamic terrorism is a spirit, mentality, and network and is sponsored by many rogue nations such as Libya, Syria, Iran, Iraq and the Sudan to name just few.

Second, which front will we fight? To declare aggression on a nation such as Afghanistan only incurs the wrath of others so we question how many fronts can we fight on?

Third, the same year Osama bin Laden was linked to the first World Trade Center bombings we greeted Yassir Arafat on the White House lawn to sign Oslo I and be treated like a hero. Terrorism is terrorism but we are having a hard time defining it.

Finally, we must painfully be made aware that there are literally thousands of fundamentalist terrorist cells all over the European continent, a deterrent to any NATO country that might choose to help America. The previous presidential administration scaled down our military to an unprecedented size and yet is deployed in more nations than ever before.

If America is to win this war on terrorism then she is going to have to fall on her face before G-d and cry out for help. This is not the time to trust in chariots or horses, but a time to remember the name of the L-rd our G-d.
