ISRAEL UPDATE

October 28, 2001 - There are many Muslims around the world angry at our President stating he will lead a crusade against those responsible for September 11th bombings.

Personally I can understand people being upset at the use of the word considering the “Christian Crusades” were anything less than Christian including brutality, rape, pillage, and murder.

Both the Christians and Muslims of that era considered the other infidels and both groups sought to rectify the world’s problems by conquering with the sword and invoking their religion.

History bears the cold, hard statistics of this time frame as Jews, Muslims and Christians lost their lives by the fundamentalist zeal and misguided piety. Yet with a week of signing the Oslo Accord Arafat called for Jihad (Holy War) against the very Israel of which he signed the treaty.

I receive weekly updates from sources where Arafat’s cohorts constantly use words such as Jihad, destruction and annihilation of the nation of Israel in their speeches.  The term crusade is a negative one but even a cursory look at the concept of Jihad (total) war and what history shows us it brings can we not be offended or afraid of this type of rhetoric.

Egypt’s use of gas against Yemen, the Jordanian attack against Palestinians, Black September or the Iran, Iraq war has shown us what happens when “brother fights brother.”

Crusade or Jihad, extremism from any source is terrifying but the people protesting our President’s choice of words should tell chairman Arafat and company to quit using and practicing what they declare.

October 28, 2001 - Again we ask the question how can tragedies like the World Trade Center happen when we have been so friendly to the world?

Consider this communiqué from Iranian Prime Minister Hussein Musavi after threatening then President Ronald Reagan that any action taken by the U.S. would increase anti U.S. feelings.

“We will meet you soon in your formidable United States.  We will get acquainted with your cities and your skyscrapers, and with your Statue of Liberty.  We will not wait for your invitation.  The streets of America will know us shortly.”

Our streets have known the Syrian/Iranian groups that pour tons of heroin into our streets and also distribute counterfeit $100.00 bills to destabilize our economy long before the two incidents of the World Trade Center.

It is safe to say our fight is far from over and it will not be easy.  These articles are intended to enlighten people as to the harsh reality of terrorism in America and are based solely on the word of G-d.  We must know G-d’s Word in order to survive and the enemies of America do too.

Mushin Fadallah, cousin of Hizballah Ayaotollah Muhammed Hussein Fadallah, stated, “People who believe in G-d and see things in the long term, they will win.  People who think only of the next hour, of their immediate surroundings, they will not win.”

John was correct when he said there was a special blessing for those who read this book, Rev. 1:8.
