ISRAEL UPDATENovember 4, 2001 – It was ironic this past week to watch the news reports of 40,000 “peaceful protestors” in Pakistan as they burned the U.S. flag and chanted anti U.S. slogans.
The media has continued to state that the current government is pro American therefore we have no problems. Yet as we speak a U.S. Special Forces Unit is now training with Israel’s foremost anti terrorist unit in order to seize Pakistan’s nuclear weapons as many of Pakistan’s government officials are anti American. Also as the bombings continue in Afghanistan a new report now states Germany is transferring 250 million Deutsch Marks to the Palestinian Authority for financial assistance.
It is interesting to note that a recent raid in the town of Ramalah that Israeli troops found documents that proved Arafat is paying members of Tanzin, a radical terrorist unit, $22,000 dollars each to continue bombing, lynching, and any other type of terrorist activities. We bomb Osama bin Laden in the name of a united coalition yet it appears many of these countries fighting bin Laden are supporting Arafat.
Again we must ask, where is there stability or where is fairness and equity? We are holding a flower in one hand and a sword in the other. G-d, open our eyes and hearts that we might understand the times we live in.
November 4, 2001 – Afghanistan and Pakistan seem to be getting all of the attention in the news media today because of what has been correctly labeled “fundamentalist Islam.” But we are really not able to see the whole picture like we should because we are being told that there are roughly 40,000 Taliban fighting for the cause.
During the last week I have read dozens of e-mails with little focus being placed on all the other nations of the world whose fundamentalist Islamic believers are rallying from as far away as Great Britain and Italy.
Last week 15 Chinese Nationals were killed fighting with the Taliban forces and without a doubt the call for Jihad will be more. In fact, some estimates go as high as 100,000 fighters on the side of Islam.
How do the nations of Europe and Africa monitor all those leaving their country as well as trying to protect their nations for ones coming in? Then again, how many times can America escalate the conflict and commit more troops if the number of these insurgents continues to rise at such an alarming rate.
Truly from a prophetic standpoint we can see the parallel of Arab Oil (clay) and the industrialized Europe (steel) coming together not just against the United States of America but against the Judeo-Christian belief system as well.
Has a sleeping giant been awakened or is it stumbling toward oblivion as Armageddon draws closer?
