ISRAEL UPDATE

October 26, 2003 - Russia has been one of the key players in the proposed Middle East peace plan called the Road Map - despite the supposed collapse of the Iron Curtain.

During the Cold War, Russia trained scores of terrorists from all over the globe, including Carlos the Jackal and Yasser Arafat.  The Jackal went to prison, while Arafat was given a nation.

As a country, we have been aligned with this group of rogue States, purchasing natural gas from them to stay warm for the winter, while this same Russia coordinates plans with Saudi Arabia to purchase weapons and aircraft.  They have also negotiated with Syria to be able to gain influence in the world's trouble spots, i.e., Israel.

Actually, Russia is bolstering nearly every rogue regime on the planet, promoting terrorism, yet demanding peace through Israeli concessions.

In fact, an article published in international magazine has documented that Arafat was trained at the KGB’s Special Ops Camp at Balashikha.  This same KGB destroyed original Arafat's birth certificate that proved his Egyptian birth.  They then issued a fictitious one, stating Arafat was born in Jerusalem – this was to ensure that everyone would believe he was a Palestinian.

The collapse of the Iron Curtain only cleared the way for the hibernating Bear of Ezekiel 38 and 39 to move about freely in the international arena, under the guise of a new nation. . .  obviously lies and deception.

From Moscow to Tehran to Mecca to Damascus to the Valley of Jezreel - we see the Road Map for peace is - according to prophecy – leading straight into the Valley of Jezreel. It is paved with the lies and conspiracies of the enemies of Israel, the U.S., and the Creator of the Universe.

October 26, 2003 - The tragedy of the Apostle Paul's ministry is that he has been blamed for many things he never said, taught, or did.

One such instance is again the controversy of Law, as people believe that Paul condemns the Law throughout the entire New Testament.

Yet careful study shows that while Paul does mention the Law more than 80 times, he never once condemns it, but rather condemns how people have used the Law.

Paul was not in bondage to the Law, but was as one theologian put it, “the Apostle set free". We see this many times in the New Testament.

One great example is found as Paul returns to Jerusalem, the hub of Jewish religion and worship.  He is greeted with the report of what G-d has been doing in his absence. “And when they heard it, they glorified the L-rd, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:” Acts 21:20

The Church of today could learn a good lesson from these early Jewish converts to Christianity - the Law is not abolished in the believer’s life, it is rather intensified.

As we look at this illustration, we see the fulfillment of G-d's principle.  The Word (Law) comes alive in the hearts of His people, then salvation, then regeneration of the Holy Spirit.

The new life of these believers caused Paul and the brethren to rejoice in the fact that there was wholeness in their lives. Therefore they would become fruitful in their walk with G-d and fruitful for the Church.
