ISRAEL UPDATENovember 30, 2003 - With the concept of Israel, Iraq and Egypt being accepted into NATO, we see a gigantic move forward with the prophetic picture of the world.
We understand that the enemies of Israel are both economic and military. The economic influence is just as relevant, even though the military gets the most attention.
Notice that the European power brokers are feeling the need to secure this region that is in so much upheaval - both Israel and Iraq.
These financiers understand the tremendous risk involved in this area of the world that is so prone to violence. Its stability has a direct affect on finances.
Yasser Arafat has long advocated the need for more than just intervention in the ongoing crisis. This new Brussels-born idea would for the short term stabilize the region and “level off” items of a financial nature.
The military opposition to Israel, i.e., the Arab states and terrorist organizations would combine with Europe’s financial strength, thus creating an internationalized Israel.
If this scenario were to unfold, then Israel's democracy will be eliminated - as it becomes subservient to the rule of international forces.
Could this be a huge step toward the Jewish state acquiescing to world demands, signing a peace treaty with the Antichrist as prophesied in Daniel 9:27? This should cause us once again to realize the relevance of Biblical prophecy.
November 30, 2003 - I was once challenged by a man who said “613 Jewish Laws for what? We don't need that, we are New Testament believers.”
My reply came in the form of a series of questions. First, “Did you know that 10 specific laws of the 613 you say we don't need today are more commonly called the Ten Commandments?” The answer was silence.
Second question, “Are you married?” The man replied, “Yes, I am that what G-d expects.” I then asked, “Do you know what the first of the 613 commandments are that you don’t need? His reply was no, so I quoted Genesis 1:27-28, “So G-d created man in his own image, in the image of G-d created he him; male and female created he them. And G-d blessed them, and G-d said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
With the man standing in dead silence,, I then went on to enquire if he realized that of the 613 Jewish Laws that he didn't need, more than 1/3 were related to health and hygiene issues.
Another 1/3 were devoted to Temple worship and conduct in the House of G-d along with the attitude of those that worship.
It is true most of them relate to Jews, and many of those laws became outdated with the Temple's destruction. But for people to say they don't need 613 Jewish Laws because they're under grace, usually is an indication they have not done their homework – because if they had, they would realize these laws are good for them.
